Google's Android security patch for March now available for Nexus and Pixel devices

In the beginning, Google Lens was made available only to Pixel users, but before Lens, Google Goggles was an early app version and it was first released previous year for Pixel users exclusively too. Recently, Google Photos also got an update, courtesy which users could turn their pictures into themed movies.

Once users update their Google Photos app, they should be able to activate Google Lens by selecting the feature in a menu.

All of the changes that Google had detailed today are meant for developers as they will be the ones putting this first Android P developer preview through its paces.

How does Google Lens work?

Through Google Lens, users can obtain information by simply scanning things/objects through their Android smartphone. Is Google Lens helpful, you may ask?

The easiest way to go enable Google Pay (formerly Android Pay) about this is installing the Pay Enabler app directly on your Android Wear smartwatch using the Google Play Store. If you take a photo of a business card, Lens can create a new contact with the information printed there. Let us know in the comment section below. Google Lens which was so far restricted to its Pixel range of smartphones will finally see its integration into the Google Photos app.
