"Trump Hotels is totally convinced it will not only prevail, but that it should also be paid damages, costs and other charges related to today's actions", the lawyers said in a statement.

It added that the spat will ultimately be settled by an arbitration panel under the International Chamber of Commerce.

A legal dispute over Trump's management contract at the hotel continues, but Monday's developments indicated Trump had effectively surrendered physical control of the property.

Fintiklis has been fighting to cancel the contract with the Trump Organization which runs through 2031 because he blamed the company and the Trump brand for a fall in profits.

The Trump Organization was formally evicted from the Trump International Hotel in Panama on Monday morning - and the building's owner wasted no time in taking down Trump's name.

Within hours of the verdict from a Panamanian court, hotel staff removed the Trump name from its main entrance. He sued in NY and flew to Panama in February to fire Trump Organization staff, but they refused to let him past the lobby.

Apple to release an updated MacBook Air this year
Report further suggests that the company shipped approx 4.43 million MacBooks in the third quarter of 2017. The analyst says Apple is planning to release a new MacBook Air "with a lower price tag " for this year.

Now, the Trump Hotels brand operates 11 properties in its portfolio after hotels in Toronto and NY similarly voted to step away from the brand recently.

The Trump Organization previously described Fintiklis' efforts as "pure thuggery". That included the administrative offices and the hotel's closed caption security system, which was housed in the condo association within the same building. "Looking back, it is now apparent that Mr. Fintiklis, in flagrant violation of the commitments he had made, never had any intention of keeping his word and had been plotting a takeover and termination of Trump Hotels all along".

"This is a purely commercial dispute that just spun out of control", Mr. Fintiklis said in a brief impromptu news conference in the hotel's lobby.

The ownership dispute at the property has been punctuated by yelling and shoving matches, appearances by armed police officers and visits by government delegations, including Panamanian labor regulators, forensic specialists and a justice of the peace. More than a half dozen of Trump's security officials were seen leaving the hotel.

The fight ended quietly when a Panamanian judicial official accompanied by police came to help enforce Fintiklis' claim to the property. Though Fintiklis has generally declined to comment on the dispute, he appeared to gloat Monday.

If Fintiklis celebrating the win by playing piano in the hotel lobby for reporters wasn't enough celebration, the owners later ripped T-R-U-M-P off of the front of the building with a hammer and crowbar.
