It appeared Randolph, the 266th-ranked player in the world, would have had a place in next week's Valspar Championship, but a Friday morning decision by Woods meant Randolph's spot was no more.

Innisbrook became part of the PGA Tour schedule in 2000. "The more I play tournament golf, the better I'll get at it".

Tiger had limited options for pre-Masters events because he is ineligible for the World Golf Chanmpionships tournaments this week in Mexico and the Match Play later this month.

Woods, 42, showed more than a few glimpses of his vintage best at last week's Honda Classic where, despite playing on one of the most hard courses on the PGA Tour, he entered the weekend only four shots off the lead.

The back-to-back commitments are a good sign in Woods' return to competitive action after being sidelined for a year due to back surgery.

Salah takes Liverpool to second, West Brom cut adrift
Zabaleta said: "It is not only against West Ham - we have seen they can score more than two or three goals against top sides". Emre Can also struck while Salah and Mane both hit the woodwork in Liverpool's dominant display.

Woods finished in 12th place in the Honda Classic at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Florida in February, in what was only his third PGA Tour start since his comeback after spine surgery. He missed the cut at Riviera, where he never won even at his best. "But I need to keep building on it, keep building my body, keep building toward April".

He has won eight times in 17 starts at Bay Hill and will be making his first appearance since claiming victory in 2013. That was the goal when I first came back - try and get everything situated for April.

"I feel like I've really hit the ball well", Woods said after the Honda Classic. "And I feel like I'm right on track for that".

Golf Channel and NBC analyst David Duval believes the Valspar Championship will help Woods' preparations ahead of the April 5-8 event at Augusta National.

Other marquee names in the Valspar field include Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia, while one would-be alternate won't be around for the festivities.
