Famously known for representing athletes in the world of basketball over the years, veteran NBA agent Dan Fegan died in a fatal auto crash on Sunday. While of course the nice words won't bring him Fegan back, it's great that the National Basketball Association was fortunate enough to have Fegan contribute over the years.

Fegan's 5-year-old son and a 29-year-old California woman also were in his SUV when he tried to merge onto a highway and was broadsided by a commuter bus, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Rockets big man Nene was one of Fegan's clients and posted a thoughtful and heartfelt message about his former agent on Instagram.
