"I am not convinced", Cunningham told Nassar.

"You are a doctor".

The Eaton County sentence will be served concurrently with the Ingham County sentence but after the child pornography sentence, the judge said. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) called a meeting she'd held with some of Nassar's victims the "most disturbing, emotional" one she'd had in her 25 years in the Senate.

"You have lived an idolized life". You are a doctor.

"You will be left to sit there with only the memories of destroying your own family", Cunningham said.

Dozens of people gave victim statements last week in the Eaton County, Mich., courtroom.

Nassar groped girls during medical treatment over two decades of horrifying abuse that he reportedly described as "special treatment".

"[Mr Geddert's] abuse was your fuel", Ms Lorencen told Mr Nassar during the hearing. He told members of Twistars that he planned to retire in the near future shortly after his suspension was made public.

"When a crime involves an adult harming a defenseless child, it is only natural to think in terms of an eye-for-an-eye and to want revenge".

However, this is only Maker's second year in the National Basketball Association and just needs more time to develop. He averages 7.1 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 54.6 percent from the field in 16.7 minutes per game.

Nassar was a team doctor for USA Gymnastics and victims testified that they were required to seek treatment from Nassar instead of their own doctors.

Former US Olympic women's gymnastics team coach John Geddert is facing a criminal investigation after complaints were filed following the sentencing of disgraced ex-sports doctor Larry Nassar, who molested girls at Geddert's elite gymnastics club in MI.

During Nassar's sentencing hearing, some victims complained that Geddert was physically abusive, created an ultra-competitive atmosphere, was indifferent to injuries and rarely offered gymnasts any choice to see a different doctor.

The criminal cases against Nassar followed reports past year in The Indianapolis Star about how USA Gymnastics, which trains Olympians, mishandled complaints about sexual misconduct involving the doctor and coaches.

"The breadth of the defendant's abuse and destruction is almost infinite", the prosecutor said.

Officials believe Nassar abused at least 265 women since the1990s by penetrating them with ungloved hands, but warned the true figure could be far higher.

"It's impossible to convey the breadth and depth of how sorry I am to each and every one", he said. Another gymnast, Bailey Lorencen, said Mr Geddert had forced her to continue training during a practice where she broke a bone in her back.

Boyce says she feels relief, as if a chapter in her life has ended.
