Bucks get center Tyler Zeller in trade from Brooklyn

The Nets Tyler Zeller goes to the basket

He averages 7.1 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 54.6 percent from the field in 16.7 minutes per game.

The 28-year-old Zeller spent the last three seasons with the Boston Celtics before his time with the Nets.

Zeller adds frontcourt depth for Milwaukee.

Brooklyn will acquire shooting guard Rashad Vaughn and a conditional 2018 second-round pick for Zeller. "At some point - and not saying Tyler's out of the rotation - but just finding that when we play two guys they get decent minutes, and also gets [Quincy Acy] at the five a little bit, which is some of our best lineups, honestly".

The Bucks resume their four-game road trip Tuesday night in NY against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Both Milwaukee and Brooklyn can walk away happy from the trade.

WH Removes Nominee for Council on Environment Quality
Tom Carper (D-Del.), the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said in a statement late Saturday. Democrats and environmental activists hailed the decision to pull the nomination.

The trade ends Vaughn's tenure in Milwaukee at 2 1/2 seasons.

The 6-6 Vaughn, who was the No. 17 overall pick in the 2015 National Basketball Association draft, was included in the deal largely for salary-cap purposes.

According to Wojnarowski, the second-round pick is protected between the 31st and 47th overall selections and will go to the Nets in 2020 if Brooklyn doesn't receive it this summer. However, this is only Maker's second year in the National Basketball Association and just needs more time to develop.

Zeller, 28, is in his sixth season in the National Basketball Association and holds career averages of 7.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game while shooting 50.4 percent from the field.
