World of Warcraft's new expansion available for pre-order

We'll see the Battle for Azeroth descend on World of Warcraft sometime this summer, according to a press release received yesterday. The Standard Edition of the expansion will be $49.99, but the Digital Deluxe Edition offers a bit more for $69.99.

Pre-ordering the expansion will also grant players early access to the new Allied Races.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, which was announced at BlizzCon a year ago, will be released sometime this Summer. Horde players can unlock the Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne Elves, while the Alliance gains access to Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves.

You'll also be granted a level-110 character boost immediately to get you all prepared for the upcoming war between the Horde and Alliance. Pre-sales are now open and give you the chance to get a taste for the new Allied Races being introduced in the expansion. Once you have completed a few Alliance quests and earned yourself the respect of an Allied Race, you will unlock the ability to use that race in character creation.
