17 dead after blaze engulfs plastic factory in Bawana

At least 17 people died after they fell prey to the fire that engulfed a firecracker factory / storage in the Bawana industrial area here on Saturday evening. "The rescue operations are underway as more people are suspected to be trapped inside the factory", said officials.

Atul Garg the DFS was alerted about the fire at 6:20 pm, following which, 15 Fire tenders were deputed to the spot. "V (ery) sad to hear abt large no of casualties".
