Celebrities have been taking to Twitter since a bombshell report came to light suggesting Mark Wahlberg made 1500 times what Michelle Williams made for working on the All the Money in the World reshoots.

The impressive cinematic feat of Ridley Scott's "All the Money in the World" has been undercut yet again by reports that Mark Wahlberg earned a whole lot more money than his costar Michelle Williams during reshoots of the film. Now the oil family drama is back in the news for another shocking casting dispute, this one revolving around Mark Wahlberg and Michele Williams' pay checks. Scott told USA Today in December of the reshoot that "everyone did it for nothing", specifically mentioning himself and Williams.

That amounted to less than $1,000 for scenes reshot in November to replace disgraced actor Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer after allegations of sexual misconduct were made.

Scott managed to assemble his cast and crew on short notice during the Christmas period, successfully reshooting and re-editing the film in time to meet its original release date.

In June, Forbes named Wahlberg the highest-paid actor in the world with earnings of $68 million between June 2016 and June 2017.

Representatives for Wahlberg, Williams, WME, Sony, Imperative Entertainment and Scott did not respond to USA TODAY's requests for comment. Ms. Williams, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role in "All the Money in the World", walked the red carpet with Tarana Burke, senior director of the nonprofit Girls for Gender Equity and the founder of the #MeToo movement.

In some places, the protesters set fire to portraits of President Donald Trump, but there were no reports of violence. If the overland routes are closed, the USA would need to haul supplies in by cargo plane, a much more costly method.

Further, USA Today reports that Ridley had previously claimed he was able to pull off the $10 million reshoot because "everyone did it for nothing".

In December we reported that Williams, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the film, revealed she waved her fee for the extra work. "Everyone did it for nothing", he said, adding, "I refused to get paid".

Regardless, experts say, a huge pay gap between a male and female star is exactly what Hollywood doesn't need right now as it struggles in the wake of sexual harassment allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein and other prominent men. He had the ability to negotiate since he already had taken a pay cut.

"I wonder if the studio or Wahlberg will do something to make the situation less insane", filmmaker Judd Apatow added. And they could have my salary, they could have my holiday, whatever they wanted.

Similarly, Scott also told the same publication that, 'all of them, everyone did it for nothing'.
