Trump Delays Fake News Awards

As you can see in the tweet above, the president is citing interest that "is far greater than anyone could have anticipated" as a possible reason for the date change.

After the advert was released, The Daily Show's official Twitter account poked fun at Trump's literacy, saying: "Hey @realDonaldTrump, show them you're not semiliterate!"

Trump frequently rails on the media and accuses reporters and networks of being "fake news".

"That's why President Trump is crowning the 2017 KING OF FAKE NEWS before the end of the year".

The late-night comedians responded by copying each other in an attempt to get the "Fake News Media" award, expressing the view that receiving an award would be a badge of honor.

Trump thinks about his presidency as an hour-by-hour exercise in programming, which is clear from his Twitter feed and the way he drives the coverage to new topics-say, National Football League protestors-when he wants to change the story line.

Why it's so hard for USA to crack down on Pakistan
Pakistan , which serves as a key transport route for supplies to USA forces in Afghanistan, denies harboring terrorists. Pressure from the USA also resulted in a buildup of Pakistani military presence along the border with Afghanistan.

One big question facing the media is: Will they go live?

In an email to his supporters on December 28, the Trump campaign sought nomination for the "King of Fake News" trophy. The president gave an exclusive, 30-minute interview, with no aides around, to The New York Times' Mike Schmidt last week while at his club Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

"The Failing New York Times has a new publisher, A.G. Sulzberger".

Trump says he'll give out the awards on January 17, but the White House hasn't said much about them.

It also says the Trump campaign did not expect to win the U.S. election and Trump himself was "befuddled" by the result, that he was angry A-list stars snubbed his inauguration, and that he found the White House "scary".
