The Bel Air neighborhood is filled with multimillion-dollar mansions and is home to many celebrities.

Los Angeles psychologist Robby Strong took credit for the stinker of a prank on Facebook by sharing a copy of the card he left with the special delivery Saturday.

According to CNN affiliate ABC7, the package was from "the American people".

Strong said that because there are restrictions on mailing waste materials like manure, he instead opted to personally go to Mnuchin's home and leave it outside.

Authorities say a gift-wrapped box of horse manure addressed to U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was found near his home in Los Angeles.

According to the New York Post, the "gift" also included a card that referenced President Donald Trump and the recently passed tax bill.

Police, bomb squad respond to emergency situation at Lambeau Field
Part of the Lambeau Field parking lot was just taped off by the Brown County Sheriff after an incident in the parking lot. WBAY tweeted a photo of a minivan resting atop another vehicle in a parking lot outside the Packers' training facility.

Treasury Secretary nominee, Steven Mnuchin, testifies during his Senate Finance committee confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill, on January 19, 2017 in Washington, DC.

Strong was first identified as the fecal benefactor by Al.com early Monday.

Apparently Mnuchin, who has not yet responded to BuzzFeed News' request for comment, was at home when the package arrived, and it was so suspicious that the bomb squad was called in to investigate.

"Who coulda done such a thing", he wrote.

US Secret Service told CNN they were aware of the incident but referred all questions to the LAPD. "It's a right of passage", Strong wrote.
