Shocking moment Seahawk's Quinton Jefferson tries to attack a fan in the stands after he threw a bottle at him

Jefferson was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct while his team-mate Sheldon Richardson suffered the same fate for throwing a punch.

Jefferson began to head to the locker room following the loss when an object, reportedly a beer, was thrown on him from the stands.

"The Jaguars fans crossed a line there this is one moment where you know it would not have been the same had he been on the field cause that fan knows Quinton Jefferson would have destroyed him.send that fan to jail for assault as well in my book", one fan wrote. Just 'cause I'm playing football ...

As the Jaguars were taking a knee to run out the clock and end the game, Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett repeatedly rolled into the legs of Jacksonville center Brandon Linder.

"I'm a human just like anybody else".

Here are some other reactions to Jefferson's actions.

Trump Dismisses Accusations Of Sexual Misconduct As 'Fake News'
Gillibrand told CNN on Monday that the allegations of sexual misconduct are credible and numerous and that Trump should resign. Many of Trump's accusers, contrary to the statement, were not publicly contradicted by eyewitnesses. "Nothing was said.

When asked if jumping into the stands was the right call he responded: "I don't know".

One person who didn't take Jefferson's side after the game was Pete Carroll. "Somebody poured a beer on his head as he was walking out of the stadium". They pay to get in. "They can do whatever they want".

"We're grateful for the immediate response by stadium security personnel to the situation", the Jaguars said in the statement. The NFL announced on Monday that it will be investigating the entire situation.

On Monday morning, ESPN college football analyst Booger McFarland had this to say about the fans who provoked Jefferson as he left the field. "We are going to be looking at and talking to both clubs about a variety of things in that game particularly at the end where we had a series of ejections, on-field issues and then leaving the field". While fans shouldn't throw objects onto the field and certainly not a player, and are subject to being thrown out if they do, a player clearly can't react that way.

Lockhart said there's "nothing to report at this point" in terms of punishments.
