Marvel to Launch New Animation Franchise 'Marvel Rising'

Netflix released the first trailer for season 2 of Jessica Jones today.

"Marvel's Jessica Jones" stars Krysten Ritter as the New York City investigator. "Just by nature of a new structure and it being more emotional, you have to expand the world beyond just Jessica's head".

Now, it isn't really known how Jessica learned of the phrase.

As this is the first teaser trailer, it's meant to get you excited about the new season without giving away too much. And like most trailers, a premiere date is attached to it!

Marvel's Jessica Jones season 2 premieres on Thursday, March 8, 2018, according to a report from Entertainment Weekly.

The critically acclaimed show - featuring Krysten Ritter as everyone's favourite tough-talking, hard-drinking superhero - follows Jessica as she not-so elegantly makes her way through gritty private investigations and her own tumultuous life. "Jessica is in a pretty dark headspace when we meet her at the top of season 2", she said. The Netflix original series Jessica Jones was the second of four epic live-action adventure series which all led to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel's The Defenders. Even with Kilgrave gone, for example, all signs point to him playing a role in her mind - as reported recently, David Tennant is going to be coming back soon as the infamous villain from the first season. For all of the diehard fans who start binging the second its available, this will simply move up the binging schedule, while giving casual fans more time to watch it all during its first weekend. The next one in line could be Luke Cage based on filming timelines, and then after that the third season of Daredevil alongside the second season of Iron Fist.

Ritter is joined by returning cast members Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez, among others.
