Sunday night's episode of Talking Dead showed that Lennie James' Morgan Jones will make the leap to Fear the Walking Dead.

You can catch the crossover with TWD when Fear The Walking Dead returns in 2018.

Back in October, The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman said that there would be a The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead crossover.

James also appeared to confirm that he was leaving the original show, revealing: "The hardest part of it from beginning until now has been leaving The Walking Dead; leaving that cast and leaving that crew".

Or there could be a Fear fast-forward that puts the events of that show concurrent with those now on TWD, with Morgan moving on from Alexandria at the end of season 8 and then encountering whoever is still alive on the spin-off.

Why It's Important That Leigh Corfman Keeps Talking About Roy Moore
Senate candidate Doug Jones takes questions from reporters at a fish-fry campaign event November 18 in Birmingham, Ala. The Moore campaign lashed out at the news media, Democrats and the GOP establishment in a press conference on Tuesday.

"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 4 premieres on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.

It was heavily expected that the character would be Abraham Ford, but in fact, no. Unfortunately, this decision also means that Lennie James's fan-favorite character in the crosshairs this season, even more than we previously imagined he would be. And I've said my goodbyes to the cast and stuff, and I've said my goodbyes to the crew, but I would just like to say about the crew - because as actors, we take all the bows - but actually that show stands or falls pretty much on the back of that crew. He's leaving The Walking Dead at the end of Season 8 to join Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead, and a statement from The Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple read by Chris Hardwick said the end of his story on The Walking Dead will set up his FTWD arc.

It would have been more fun to be surprised by a familiar face while watching the show, but this gives us time to prepare and psych ourselves up for the crossover in other ways. Maybe we'll even meet some of Madison's extended family as they run into Morgan.

Lennie begins filming on Fear The Walking Dead today, just a week after he wrapped filming The Walking Dead.
