Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Star Terry Crews Files Police Report On Sexual Assault

E! News reports that Terry Crews filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department regarding his alleged sexual assault on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017.

The actor's decision to take his assault to police comes one month after he first came forward with the story on Twitter shortly after the first sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein came to light.

Crews says the agent groped him past year at a Hollywood function.

He had wanted to punch the guy out, he said, but chose to let things be. Venit has been put on leave from his agency following Crews' claims.

"I was going to kick his ass right then - but I thought twice about how the whole thing would appear", he added.

He stressed that foreign agent status could be very unsafe for RT staff and all those who interact with this TV channel. On Thursday, Margarita Simonya, RT's chief editor, said that the outlet will give in to U.S.

Crews revealed the unnamed executive apologised to him the next day and he did not pursue his complaint for fear he would be "ostracised".

Venit is a WME agent that represents celebrities such as Adam Sandler, Diane Keaton, Eddie Murphy, Kevin James, Rob Lowe, Russell Brand, Shawn Levy, Steve Martin, Sylvester Stallone and Vince Vaughn. Among those he represents are director Brett Ratner and actors Casey Affleck and Dustin Hoffman, all of whom have also been accused of sexual harassment or abuse over the last several weeks.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor elaborated further in his tweet about why he waited so long to speak on the incident. "I let it go". ( few) What r the repercussions?(many) Do u want 2 work again? "And I understand why many women who this happens to let it go". (Yes) R you prepared 2b ostracized? Inspired by the outpouring of people coming forward about now-disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, the star said he felt compelled to come forward.

The LAPD's robbery/homicide division, which also handles sex crimes, is now looking after the case after an investigation into Crews' claims was officially opened yesterday (November 8).
