YouTube TV finally gets a home on big screens

The live TV streaming app has thus far been limited to mobile devices and Chromecast, but Google is now aiming to make a splash on the big screen. For a service as important as YouTube TV, it was unusual to see Google ignore their TV platform at launch. In that regard, the search giant announced a new YouTube TV app is now available for the big screen. YouTube TV is a YouTube experience on the big screens, and in recent, they have announced that soon they will be releasing the YouTube TV for Android TV's, Apple TV, Xbox, etc. Like the mobile app, the interface is largely divided up into three tabs for navigation: library, home, and live.

However, YouTube says that watching its service on the TV was actually a fairly popular activity, it found.

The design looks interesting and simplistic so that more and more users can understand it though we are missing the support for the PS4.

The large fee increase proposal offers a very brief 30-day public comment period . Some are concerned the new fees could keep potential visitors from the parks.

With this update, you will find YouTube TV added to your Nvidia Shield similar to how Nvidia added Amazon Video earlier this year. The YouTube TV app for TV also includes a Live guide that will inform you about what is to begin airing soon.

Subscribers who own any or all of the aforementioned devices will be able to stream the YouTube TV service without need of a phone or tablet. Like other services including Sling TV, Hulu, and DirecTV Now, you'll pay a monthly rate for access to local TV programming along with "premium" channels like ESPN, AMC, FX and MSNBC. In addition to that, the Xbox One family of devices (Xbox One, Xbox One S, and beginning in November, the Xbox One X) from Microsoft is getting a YouTube TV app.
