Brother held in fatal stabbing of young siblings

Malik Vincent Murphy was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Police say a 19-year-old accused of stabbing his two young siblings to death and attacking his father in Colorado Springs told investigators he carried out the plot so he could be alone in the family home. Three Doherty students were off campus during lunch and got into a "confrontation" with at least two people in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 4600 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway, police said.

Colorado Springs Police have arrested a second suspect in a shooting near Doherty High School in September.

"Upon arrival, officers found three individuals stabbed inside the residence", he said. Their father is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive.

Ezekiel Elliott May Still Be Eligible To Play
In the Brady case, for example, the en banc petition was filed in April and the court made its decision in July. The NFLPA will ask for a full panel rehearing of Ezekiel Elliott's case with the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

He told police he was confronted by Malik after going to check on one of his children screaming.

The arrest papers go on to say an interview was conducted with Murphy by a detective.

Police said that Murphy was across the street watching the white Ford Explorer burn. He said he purchased the knife at a Walmart several months ago, according to the affidavit.

"This is a very horrific scene, not only for our officers who were performing life-saving measures, but also for the fire department and AMR crew, and we can never forget the emergency room and dealing with a 5-year-old and a 7-year-old", Black said. "They were great. They were just kids", she said.
