In an interview with Bloomberg, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict between the USA and North Korea is essential.

"The entire USA mainland is within our firing range and if the U.S. dares to invade our sacred territory even an inch, it will not escape our severe punishment in any part of the globe", he warned.

North Korea's diplomat to the United Nation's told reporters on September 25 that Trump's tweet is a "declaration of war", which the administration has denied.

The European Union has banned sales of crude oil refined petroleum products to North Korea as it further tightened sanctions on the communist country over its nuclear and missile programs.
