While we all were waiting with cautious anticipation for the Star Wars trailer during tonight's installment of Monday Night Football, Sylvester Stallone chose to drop a bomb on the film world and announce something that he's been hinting about for a long time.

In addition to writing and starring in the original "Rocky", Stallone had directed four of the previous sequels, including "Rocky Balboa" - made 30 years after the original, when Stallone was 60 years old - which was assumed to bring closure to the successful franchise.

The star hit his Instagram account on Monday with an image of he and Michael B. Jordan announcing the duo's return for Creed 2.

Sylvester Stallone has confirmed via his Instagram that he will be directing the new film. At that time Stallone posted a series vintage shots of Lundgren from the set of Rocky IV, each one tagged with 'CREED 2.' Lundgren himself largely confirmed this news when he posted a training video, with the caption, "Getting ready for something big!"

Turkey prepared to retake Syria's northern strategic city
The Turkish army has always been reinforcing its military deployment on the Syrian border in case of a threat to its territory. Rami Abdulrahman, head of the Observatory, said that the rebel alliance was sending reinforcements to the border area.

He also shared photos of Jordan from the first film to get fans exited about this sequel.

Stallone has been teasing the return of Ivan Drago in recent months, with rumours suggesting that Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed may face off against his son. "2018" and the hashtags #Creed 2 #mgm #fitness #Rocky. Coogler then went on to direct the film. It also garnered Stallone his first Oscar nod since 1976, when he was nominated for Best Actor and Best Screenplay for his roles on Rocky. The movie earned critical acclaim as well as more than $170 million at the box office.

It looks as though Sylvester Stallone and his character Rocky Balboa are back for one more round.
