"I a [sic] legitimately torn".

Although, even with potential spoilers incoming, Rian Johnson stops short of telling Star Wars fans to avoid the new trailer entirely as, according to his Twitter comment, it's really, really good. "This is why we go to the movies, and fans are already eager to snag their advance tickets on Fandango to see The Last Jedi two months from now".

Ahead of the trailer's debut, and preorder tickets going on sale, Johnson tweeted in response to a fan's concern about whether the trailer should be avoided to keep the moviegoing experience as fresh and surprising as possible.

Director Johnson revealed in September that post-production work on The Last Jedi was complete, and that the film is officially finished. And why does the director not want you to watch it? (The Giants beat the Eagles, 27-7.) As you might expect, ratings were highest during the telecast from 9:45 10 p.m. ET, when the Star Wars trailer was being shown.

Right after the trailer's premiere, advance tickets will go on sale for The Last Jedi.

Shortly thereafter came more specifics: that the trailer would air during Monday Night Football on ESPN.

Odell Beckham fractures ankle on gruesome injury, could require surgery
Orleans Darkwa scored on a 23-yard run and the Giants got a safety in scoring their first first-quarter points this season. Beckham went down on a pass that fell incomplete with about 4 minutes left in the game, the Giants up 22-20 at the time.

During halftime, the first full trailer for "Stars Wars: The Last Jedi", which debuts in theaters on December 15, will be premiering and it doesn't get much more exhilarating than that.

And now the next full-length trailer is due to be released on October 8.

The trailer for The Last Jedi will make its debut tonight, do you have what it takes to stop yourself from watching it?

And we can't wait to find out more.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" stars Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Laura Dern, Gwendoline Christie and Carrie Fisher and is scheduled to arrive in cinemas December 15.
