Ghana clashed with the United States of America in a battle for the top spot in group A of the 2017 Federation Internationale de Football Association U-17 World Cup in Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Ayo Akinola, left, scored the game's lone goal as the US defeated Ghana in a group stage match at the Federation Internationale de Football Association U-17 World Cup in India on Monday.

Apart from the 10-15 mins when Colombia looked in control of the match, it was Ghana all over the pitch.

Coach Orlando Restrepo was asked as to what was the mood in the camp before they play their first game in the world youth competition.

Ghana came in much organised and more determined in the second half which made them open up the tight USA defense on some occasions but Sadiq Ibrahim and Emmanuel Toku, in particular could not make them count.

E-way bill, which allows for seamless movement of goods worth over Rs 50,000, is likely to be implemented from April 1, 2018. Job works like zari, imitation, food items and printing items would attract 5 per cent tax instead of 12 per cent.

On being questioned about the African teams in particular who are very strong in physique, Restrepo said, "Yes, we have an experience of that".

Midfielder Thomas Gutierrez, seated beside his coach, emphasised that the entire team was focused on their opening match here, and not the senior team's World Cup qualification campaign, where they face a tough home game against Paraguay later tonight. "But we must do better in terms of finishing the chances we create", he pointed out.

In all, Ghana have reached four out of five World Cup finals and finished third in the 1999 edition.

Speaking to the media at the post match conference Paa Kwesi Fabin said, "We want to qualify in our second game against USA".

It's a long way to the final on October 28, but Kwasi has already set his sights on the title, having tipped his team to go all the way ever since the draw ceremony in Mumbai in July.
