During his highly publicized parole hearing, the four Nevada parole board commissioners present unanimously voted for his early release, citing the support Simpson had from his family and his disciplinary-free record while in prison, where he also took anti-violence classes.

The official Facebook page of the Nevada Department of Corrections posted a short video of Simpson's release in the early Sunday morning darkness.

Bondi asked the Florida Department of Corrections in a letter to notify authorities in Nevada that Florida objects to granting Simpson permission to transfer to Florida to serve his parole.

"I don't have any information on where he's going", Keast said. Scotto didn't respond to questions about where they were going or whether Simpson's sister, Shirley Baker of Sacramento, California, or his daughter, Arnelle Simpson of Fresno, California, were with him. The problem is that, as a retiree, Simpson's lawyer Malcolm LaVergne says it may be hard for Simpson to be able to pay any of the settlement.

That's the same prison where Keast says Simpson was released at 12:08 a.m. PDT Sunday.

Simpson was sentenced to a maximum 33-year prison sentence after storming a hotel room in an attempt to seize items from two sports memorabilia dealers.

In case you were wondering why O.J. was released in the dead of night, she stated, 'We needed to do this to ensure public safety and to avoid any possible incident'. Prior to his recent jail stint, the father-of-five was mostly associated with his trial and acquittal for the murders of his former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, in 1995. "I'm good to go", Cook told CNN.

"Our biggest concern was our safety and the public's safety and not wanting anybody, paparazzi, to follow him", Keast said.

Simpson's release was very much done in secret today to avoid too much attention from the press.

Simpson, 70, was granted parole in July after nine years behind bars.

His intended destination is unknown, but he told the parole board that he plans on moving to Florida to be with friends and family.
