Loris Karius makes the case for Liverpool's defence

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is poised to quickly fix his defence

JURGEN KLOPP has confirmed that he will start with Loris Karius against Spartak Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Both Liverpool and Spartak drew their opening game in Group E and face each other in Moscow on Tuesday, but Klopp was left bemused as reporters in Russian Federation repeatedly failed to discuss the game.

"I am really impressed that we're in a Champions League press conference and we're talking about things like this", he said.

Spartak secured a 1-1 draw at Maribor and will fancy their chances of troubling Liverpool judged on some slick attacking play in Slovenia that should have probably yielded all three points.

Klopp was asked to comment on, among other things, a specific tackle in Spartak's 2-2 with Anzhi on Saturday, on rumours linking Spartak winger Quincy Promes with Anfield and whether he "loved" any of his Liverpool players.

However, the agency has said it has not detected any man-made sound waves and the initial view was that it was a natural tremor. The US Geological Survey measured a magnitude 3.5 natural disaster struck at 4:29 a.m.

You can see Klopp's mood visibly shift as he hears the question and although he did answer it, he labelled it a waste of time.

It is Liverpool and City who interest me the most and a small double on the pair being involved in fixtures that contain over 3.5 goals is the recommendation.

"Yes I love the club, that includes the players", Klopp added. He was in good shape before his back problems and now he's in good shape again, ' he said. We're waiting to see if anybody latches onto Klopp saying "I love Harry Kane" and runs with a January transfer story. You can back him at [2.6] to score in 90 minutes on the Sportsbook, and I think that's a great bet given Spartak's lack of speed in defence.

'I talk about the team performance when we defend - we must do that better'. "I love Harry too but he is a Tottenham player".

About 2,000 fans from the Northwest are due to descend on the Russian capital with Liverpool facing Spartak Moscow tomorrow and United playing CSKA Moscow on Wednesday.
