Taking on wireless charging would put Xiaomi on-par with Android rivals like Samsung and LG which have featured it for years. Although Xiaomi has not released any official statement, the consortium lists it as a member. How this will be true, time will tell, but Apple is not just chose the Qi - this standard is already embedded in many newer cars (but not from AVTOVAZ), so you can put the cell phone on a special place, and it will charge during the trip. The Apple is launched wireless charging in the recent smartphone like iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. the tech giant had to bring back the glass black on these smartphones to enable the wireless charging. The new case will use the QI to wirelessly charge the app. Nearly all major global smartphone makers including Nokia, Google, Samsung, LG and Apple are part of this consortium. A Samsung manufactures it and comes with the yet announces the Snapdragon 845. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will probably come with this feature too. This also makes the Mi 7 Xiaomi's first smartphone under the Mi series to feature that display size.

The iPhone 8 officially hits shelves today (22 September) and Ikea is piggybacking on the hype to relaunch its range of wireless charging products with a tongue-in-cheek campaign - "This Charges Everything". Are you looking forward to being able to charge it wirelessly?
