Nintendo Increases Inventory of Super NES Classic Edition; NES Classic Edition Returns to Stores in 2018

Released in November 2016, this nostalgia fueled gaming box quickly developed into one of the most sought after products during the Christmas period.

Unfortunately, the supply did not meet the demand, and many fans were left disappointed when the Japanese gaming company announced they planned to stop producing the console.

So great is the demand for the retro console that Nintendo has now announced that it will put more Classic Edition consoles on shelves come its release on 29th September. But now it appears the company is rethinking its strategy.

Nintendo is expected to continue supporting SNES Classic well into 2018, as well as make a comeback for the NES.

Jamie Redknapp comments on Harry Kane
If he manages that, then there is every chance that those goals will help propel Spurs to glory. We play good football and we have been in the title race for the last couple of years.

As an indication of its planned supply, Nintendo said that the number of SNES Classic Edition consoles shipped on launch day in the USA will be higher than the total number of NES Classic Editions shipped. It features 21 built-in games like "Super Mario World" and "The Legend of Zelda". Note that Nintendo will also launch in mid-October, a version for the Super Nintendo, the NEW 3DS XL.

Good news! Nintendo will kick-start the production of its NES Classic Mini, which will be back in shops by the summer of 2018. At the time, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime apologized to those who were not able to get the system. The console is expected to sell out just as quickly as it did when it was released on the same date past year, but Best Buy is now taking pre-orders of the SNES.

Considering the threat of bankruptcy that they faced previous year, Nintendo seems to be intent on not making the same mistakes again.
