The Philadelphia Police released the following timeline regarding the disappearance of Temple University student Jenna Burleigh leading up to the discovery of her body in Wayne County, Pennsylvania.

Burleigh, 22, a commuter student from Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County, was last seen near the Temple campus in North Philadelphia around 2 a.m. Thursday. Investigators said on Saturday he had admitted to elements of the crime. According to ABC 6, Burleigh may have met 29-year-old Joshua Hupperterz at a bar in the area. Her last known location was around Pub Webb, a bar and restaurant at 1527 Cecil B. Moore Ave.

He said crime scenes were processed at Hupperterz's North Philadelphia apartment at 1708 N. 16th St. and a home in Jenkintown, which reportedly belongs to Hupperterz's mother and stepfather.

While police officials discussed the facts of the case, Burleigh's family gathered inside their two-story brick house in a quiet, upscale subdivision in Harleysville.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross stressed at Saturday's press conference that this investigation is still in its early stages as they are "still trying to determine a cause of death".

Police believe Ms Burleigh was murdered in Philadelphia and her body was transported to a home in Jenkinton, then to the lakefront property.

Police have searched a home on the 1700 block of 16th Street, which is said to be the home of a friend of Jenna's.

Philadelphia police say Hupperterz will be charged with murder in the death of Burleigh.
