PSG's Grzegorz Krychowiak is in extended talks over a season-long loan to West Brom

To the Baggies first, and while they attempt to fight off Man City and Arsenal's interest in Jonny Evans, they have completed the signing of Polish global Grzegorz Krychowiak from Paris Saint-Germain on loan until the end of the season.

Krychowiak, signed for a fee of around £28 million from Sevilla previous year, has been made available by PSG and Albion have moved in to bring him to the Hawthorns.

Krychowiak played for Sevilla from 2014 to 2016, winning two Europa League titles, and previously enjoyed stints in France with Bordeaux, Reims and Nantes.

They add Krychowiak is undergoing a medical on Wednesday with West Brom: 'The player's agent confirmed to us that Krychowiak is undergoing medical tests'.

"I had a lot of offers from Spain and Italy", he said. But this is a very ambitious club.

However that is not indicative of his own ability and, if West Brom pull this one off, they will be signing one of the best holding midfielders in Europe. "There's a good atmosphere here", the player said following the completion of the deal.

"Grzegorz arrives with an impressive reputation that is well-earned and a CV in European football which clearly displays his qualities".
