Tammy Abraham and Jordan Ayew scored either side of halftime on Saturday to hand Swansea a 2-0 victory, the south Wales club's first in the English Premier League.

Palace were booed off at half-time and despite De Boer sending on Lee Chung-Yong for Patrick van Aanholt at the break, the home side fell even further behind within three minutes of the restart.

De Boer wants to change the Palace philosophy and make them a more attractive side to watch, but the adjustment has not been smooth at the start of the Dutchman's reign.

Abraham's goal was the game's first shot on target and just to rub it in, Swansea's first goal of the season.

Kelly nearly made up for that goal seconds after the restart when his header forced Swans keeper Lukasz Fabianski into a diving goal line save.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has joined on a season-long loan from Chelsea, increasing competition in midfield, but McArthur remains determined. "We got the equalizer and then ended up scoring four goals", he said. "It's not easy to win at Crystal Palace but we are not scared and we have confidence that we can go and get a result".

James Puncheon's ambitious shot was then blocked while at the other end Alfie Mawson headed wide when he had to hit the target from a corner.

Leroy Fer swung over a cross and Abraham showed strength to fend off Palace substitute Martin Kelly and finish with a close-range volley.

Kelly was once again at fault as he was robbed on halfway by Kyle Naughton, who freed Ayew to round Hennessey and score.

Home keeper Wayne Hennessey rushed off his line but Ayew calmly drifted past him and saw the ball into the net.

But Clement ended up joining caretaker manager Alan Curtis in the technical area in the second half, and Swansea beat Sam Allardyce's Palace 2-1 to start their climb to top-flight safety.

De Boer refused to put a timeframe on winger Wilfried Zaha's injury layoff but said he will continue his rehabilitation during an upcoming global break.

"I thought we played much better in the first half".
