On Tuesday, President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order related to infrastructure projects and participate in a discussion on infrastructure.

Trump, who is visiting his residence at Trump Tower in New York City, said that it would take highway builders up to 16 different approvals involving 9 different federal agencies, governed by 29 different statues.

"This is what we will bring it down to; this is less than two years", Trump said. "We will rebuild our country with American workers, American iron, American aluminum, American steel", Trump said. The White House did not provide any more details on the coming executive order.

Speaking at the Trump Tower in NY alongside Transportation secretary Elaine Chao, he said builders have to navigate up to 16 approvals, 9 agencies, and 29 statutes.

Trump will sign his executive order this afternoon to revoke the standards as part of his administration's plan to "streamline the current process" for infrastructure projects, a government official said.

Flood policy expert Eli Lehrer, president of the libertarian R Street Institute who has been critical of many other Obama initiatives, agreed that revoking this order will end up costing taxpayers money.

By this point Asensio already had six goals in his first 11 appearances for Madrid , making him the team's top scorer at the time. After the Super Cup defeat, Sergio Busquets said Barca needed to renovate themselves otherwise there will be bigger problems.

"I stand by my man - both of them", Chao reportedly said Tuesday.

Flanked by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, Trump unraveled a flow chart he said shows how long it now takes to issue permits for a highway. The administration has issued dozens of rules and orders to reverse or rescind Obama-era regulations addressing climate change and its consequences such as rising sea levels and more severe storms.

The order will not keep state and local agencies from using a more stringent standard should they choose to do so. "Without this standard, we're going to be spending increasing amounts to do the exact same thing".

The Trump administration has long maintained that reducing regulatory red tape and eliminating duplicative steps in the approval process will not only speed up project delivery, but will also make projects more attractive to the private sector. "This is going to happen quickly, that's what I'm signing today". "It's going to be quick, it's going to be a very streamlined process, and by the way, if it doesn't meet environmental safeguards, we are not going to approve it - very simple".

"We're like a third-world country when it comes to infrastructure", former Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood said in 2016, during then-President Barack Obama's tenure.

During an infrastructure messaging week in June, Trump promised to set up a new infrastructure council to help project managers "navigate the bureaucratic maze".
