More showers and storms are in the forecast this afternoon, as a weak area of low pressure off the Florida coast pulls in some moisture. Highs will range from the mid 70s northwest to the lower 80s elsewhere with light winds. West southwest wind 5 to 7 miles per hour becoming calm.

There will be a 20 percent chance of rain before 8 a.m.

Skies today will be mostly cloudy with temps in the mid to lower 80s. Another wave is northeast of the Leeward Islands; conditions will slowly improve and this could become better organized over the weekend.

A low around 68 Tuesday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. Highs in the low 90s. With the approach of a warm front tonight, chances for rain will be on the increase.
