"Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is now underway", a Fox spokesperson said.

The 54-year-old host is now under investigation after HuffPost reported on Friday (August 4) that Eric had sent unsolicited photo of male genitalia to at least two coworkers at Fox Business and one at colleague at Fox News.

Fox News has made a decision to suspend longtime host Eric Bolling amid allegations that he sent a lewd and inappropriate photos to several female colleagues a few years ago. "I look forward to clearing my name asap".

Bolling, who now co-hosts "The Fox News Specialists", was pulled off his former show, "The Five", earlier this year when it moved to primetime because network executives wanted a familiar face in the 5 p.m. ET time slot. Last year, then-Fox News head Roger Ailes resigned in the wake of a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson.

Huff Post said they had spoken to 14 sources linked to Fox News and Fox Business to verify the story, but all of them wanted to remain anonymous because they either work at the network or are at risk of breaching confidentiality agreements. One of the women told the Huffington Post that she told Bolling not to sent photos like that again, but he never responded.

Several other Fox News employees confirmed they had seen the images as well.

Taking to Twitter on Monday morning was Eric Bolling who decided that he was going to speak out for the first time since the aforementioned article accused him of sending lewd photos. "Thank you", Bolling wrote, according to Variety.

It's no secret that there has been trouble behind the scenes at the Fox News Channel. In July, Fox Business host Charles Payne was suspended after sexual harassment allegations were levied against him. He said he wanted to fly me out to NY for in-studio hits and to have "fun". Once, he took me up to his office in NY, showed me his baseball jerseys, and in the brief time I was there, let me know that his office was his favorite place to have sex.

Attorneys for several employees who have sued Fox News and activists have used the accusations to suggest British regulators not approve the proposed transaction, which remains under government review. While Bolling's suspension is in effect, rotating substitute hosts will be in place on The Specialists, as well as on Bolling's weekend segment, "Cashin' In".

The backlash came down so hard on O'Reilly that Fox News was forced to pull the plug and fire one of their most popular names over the last two decades.
