Trump Still a Working-Class Hero, Democratic Poll Shows

It found that 68 percent believe transgenders should be able to serve in the military while 27 percent think they should be banned from doing so. That's including 55% of voters in military households who support transgender service, according to the poll.

The Quinnipiac poll also found that among white voters without a college degree - a bloc that voted overwhelmingly for Trump in November - 50 percent say they are unhappy with him, while 43 percent approve.

The president's approval rating is down 7 percentage points from the 40 percent rating he received in a similar poll in the last week of June. Other polls might show somewhat different readings. "Voters say, 'Let them serve'".

64 - 25 percent of voters disapprove of Republican ideas to replace the Affordable Care Act.

"Voters say a soldier is a soldier, no matter what his/her gender identity is", Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac poll, said in a statement released with the survey results.

The May 25 national poll found GOP health plan backers could feel pain at the polls; only 20 percent of USA voters support plan.

Putin's Retaliation Against US Could End Up Hurting Russians
Although he's ordered the U.S.to reduce its staff in Moscow and other cities, most people on that staff probably aren't American. At the same time, he said that areas of cooperation between the USA and Russian Federation do exist.

Only 36 percent of Americans approve of Trump's job performance, down 6 points from his 100-day mark, which itself was a low.

The May 18 New York City poll found New Yorkers oppose mayoral school control 3-1; support for police body cameras tops 10-1. This matches a previous low in Gallup's polling of the president's approval.

The May 11 national poll found 21% of US voters approve of revised GOP health plan; voters reject Trump tax plan nearly 2-1.

Trump has often touted the Rasmussen poll's approval rating.

The independent Quinnipiac poll regularly surveys about political races, state and national elections, and issues of public concern, such as schools, taxes, transportation, municipal services and the environment.

But the Quinnipiac poll wasn't the only ones showing the startling figures. The Quinnipiac poll was also called "the standout performer" by City and State for the most accurate prediction in the Democratic primary for New York City mayor in 2013. Surveys conducted by Rasmussen do not meet ABC News' standards for polls due to their use of recorded, auto-dialed calls and lack of in-household participant selection.
