However, when customers using a cash machine in Corpus Cristi, Texas, received such a message claiming to be from a man stuck inside, it was no laughing matter. In case you wondering if this is true, it absolutely is!

According to reports, the man was a contractor who was there to fix a door lock but accidentally left behind his phone and the device to unlock the door, so he was stranded.

What the repairman did was to slip handwritten "Please help" notes with his boss' phone number along with every transaction receipt.

In order to save the repairman, the police kicked at the faulty door lock. "Please call my boss at ..."

"He became stuck when changing a lock to a room that leads to the back of the ATM", police told Sky News.

The repairman wrote the note including his boss' phone number but Police revealed that some customers thought the notes were a joke, but one chose to give them a call.

Bhutan claims the territory as ts own and along with India, has objected to China constructing a road in the region. Apart from Chinese envoy, Rahul Gandhi has also met Bhutanese envoy and ex-NSA Shiv Shankar Menon.

When officers arrived on scene, they could hear a faint voice coming from the ATM.

Officer Olden said people first though the note was a joke, but someone eventually took it seriously and called police.

Due to the unusual situation, police couldn't classify the incident as a crime, so they freed the man and let him go. Pretty sure you would pinch yourself to check if you had entered a dimension where ATM Machines can communicate, think it's a practical joke or if you're a little timid, run for your life.

Officer Olden confirmed that the door did not have a door knob and that a device was really needed to unlock the door from the inside - in this case, the man's swipe card. "It's got to be a joke".

The man was reportedly stuck in the ATM for about two hours.
