Trump under investigation for possible obstruction of justice: Washington Post

Vice President Mike Pence has retained outside counsel to help him navigate the ongoing probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to the Washington Post, ABC News and others.

Joining the vice president will be Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly.

Pence on Thursday traveled to Miami for a conference covering issues affecting Central America.

They are expected to talk about the economic, security, and governance challenges and opportunities in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. "Why is that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russian Federation are not looked at, but my non-dealings are?" the President tweeted in the afternoon, as he said the Clintons deserved an obstruction of justice probe.

Kumble likely to remain coach for WI tour
But BCCI official Vinod Rai said a special panel overseeing the selection was yet to decide if someone else will take the reins. Being asked to send in a fresh application for the coach's job, on a technicality, has left Kumble disappointed.

Pence noted that the Trump administration has proposed $460 million in assistance, which will be used to strengthen law enforcement and develop their economies.

Leaders of three Central American nations say they share the United States' interest in reducing illegal immigration and drug trafficking but need help to do it. Some indirectly warned of the consequences of such a move. Of course, as a public servent, Pence's salary has been paid for by taxpayers for years but I suppose we're just splitting hairs at that point. He then singled out the two U.S. Capitol police agents, Crystal Griner and David Bailey. "On the contrary, a prosperous and peaceful Central America is America's best investment in support of its people and, of course, a great investment for us".

USA intelligence agencies have concluded that Moscow interfered in last year's presidential campaign to try to tilt the vote in Trump's favor.

The conference comes as the Trump administration has dismayed experts on the region with a proposed 30 percent cut in foreign assistance to the three countries. He dismissed concerns about the reduced funding as part of wider cuts that proposed throughout the government by Trump. "We are stronger together", he said. "It should not be seen as singling out Central America because that's not the case at all".
