AC Milan are on the verge of capturing Portugal sensation Andre Silva from Porto as the resurgent Serie A giants continue to build for next season

Carlos Bacca is open to joining Paris Saint-Germain after AC Milan signed Portugal striker Andre Silva.

Silva's move to Milan became the Italian side's fourth signing in 14 days - along with Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez - totalling a massive €99m between the four of them.

The 21-year-old Silva scored 21 goals in 44 matches in all competitions for Porto last season.

They were bought by the Chinese-backed Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux company in April and the new owners have shown their ambition with heavy investment in the squad this summer.

Taylor Swift's music is returning to Spotify, Pandora, more
Swift allowed Apple to stream it after the music platform chose to pay artists royalties during its free three-month trial. So she pulled out all her albums and just went exclusive with Apple Music in 2015. "Valuable things should be paid for".

But after Milan failed in bids to land Andrea Belotti from Torino and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, Silva is now expected to sign for the seven-time European champions. In October previous year, Silva scored the first goal in the match for the Portuguese national team. However, he has a quick enough turn of pace to also beat defenders one-on-one.

"I was pleasantly impressed and surprised by this opportunity and I am very happy to be here at Milan", he said to MilanNews.

Silva wasn't about to declare himself the next Ronaldo, though. Moreover, spending time with the iconic striker on the worldwide scene, learning from his experience, will only be beneficial to Silva's development in Milan.

Will Andre Silva be a hit in Milan? "I can guarantee I will give everything I can to help this club realise their ambitions". Let us know in the comments section below.
