Putin Denies Ever Meeting With Trump

Russian President Vladimir Putin says claims about Russian involvement in USA elections are untrue, and says the United States actively interferes with elections in other countries.

Though she's obviously the star of Sunday Night With Megan Kelly, the former Fox News anchor used the first 11 minutes of the program to interview Russian president Vladimir Putin before tossing the rest of the hour to reports by Cynthia McFadden and Harry Smith, which she introduced.

"There was a time when he used to come to Moscow", he continued. "I don't know. The routine job of an ambassador ― do you think that from all over the world, or from the United States, the ambassador reports to me every day who he meets with or what they discuss there? Are you all. have you all lost your senses over there?"

"They have been misled", Putin responded when Kelly said that American intelligence agencies had concluded that Russian Federation interfered in the campaign with the goal of electing Trump.

Later in the interview Mr Putin also addressed claims that alleged he had collected a pre-campaign dossier on Mr Trump.

"This isn't for us to get into, these are your domestic political squabbles. But the main policy track does not change", Putin said.

It also claims that people close to then-candidate Trump were in contact with the Russians during the 2016 campaign.

He had similar dismissive answers to Kelly's questions about Michael Flynn, Trump's national security adviser who was sacked after a brief stint in the White House.

He said "no proposal" ever came to him from son-in-law Jared Kushner for a secret back channel communication.

Putin once again denied any involvement in the USA election during his interview with Kelly, instead floating the idea that the hackers were American.

Panamagate: Nawaz Sharif served summons
It would be the first time in Pakistan's recent history that a sitting prime minister appears before such an investigating panel. The report also said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar may also be questioned by the team before Sharif's appearance.

"Had there been anything significant he would have reported it to the minister".

Putin's comments were translated from Russian into English for the broadcast. "There weren't even any reports".

"That's it. I didn't even really talk to him".

"There wasn't any kind of discussion about sanctions or anything else".

"It's just that French journalists asked me about those hackers". You create a sensation out of nothing.

Russian President Vladimir Putin dismisses the allegation that Russians meddled in the USA election.

During his interview, Vladimir Putin also pointed out the USA had a history of interfering in elections of nearly every country in the world. But getting the U.S.'s biggest antagonist is meaningless if you simply go through the motions once he's there.

As the Senate prepared for Comeys appearance, Trump appeared unlikely to try to block him from testifying.

Comey is expected to be asked by lawmakers about an alleged effort by Trump to have him drop the probe against Flynn, made in February and described by Comey in a memo documenting the private Oval Office meeting. Trump is known to change his mind on major issues.

Legislators from both parties urged Trump not to stand in the way of Comey's evidence. In May, Flynn said he will plead the fifth and ignore a congressional subpoena from the Senate intelligence committee.
