Kellyanne Conway says James Comey's own actions led to his firing

Cooper to Conway Your answer makes no sense

Cooper to Conway Your answer makes no sense

Honestly, anyone who can interview Conway for 10 minutes before rolling their eyes is a hero in my book.

"There are any number of issues and events that brought the president to this decision", she said.

"You don't think it looks odd at all that the President of the United States is firing the guy who's leading the investigation into the president's White House and the people around the president?"

After a weekslong absence from the cable-news circuit, Conway appeared on CNN late Tuesday, sparring with host Anderson Cooper over why Comey was sacked in the midst of the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Can you imagine a male anchor rolling their eyes at Hillary Clinton or a female representative spokeswoman for President Obama or President Bill Clinton? Cooper questioned this, asking why Trump would be concerned with that now when he praised Comey's handling of the email investigation many times while campaigning.

Comey's firing on Tuesday came as a big shock as not only did his investigation into Clinton's emails benefit Trump during the 2016 election, but also because the FBI is now investigating whether or not Trump's campaign colluded with Russian Federation to interfere in the election.

"This whole thing is very simple - you're trying to make it very complex", Conway said.

'I face sexism a lot of times when I show up for interviews like that, ' Conway said Thursday (11 May) on Fox & Friends.

Kings XI stay alive with crucial win
Amla wanted to display his more talent but failed to do so as in the after first six of the match he failed to repeat the same. Amla went to 50 off 35 balls, and along with Marsh, set the flawless platform for his side with a 125-run partnership.

The two then argued about whether Trump's statements on the campaign trail are relevant today. But Conway's reaction to Cooper's eye-roll is about more than that.

"I don't consider myself a feminist", Conway told the Washington Post.

"Thanks for the trip down memory lane", Conway responded.

"Let's put a couple things in context", Conway said on Fox News.

As the first woman to lead a successful presidential campaign, I am sure Kellyanne Conway has faced her unrelenting share of sexism from Republican chums and Democrat talking heads (this gross Fatal Attraction SNL sketch, included).

"I don't know who had access to my account", she said.

But Ms Conway said in the interview it "has nothing to do with Russia".
