What a Google Fuchsia preview reveals

The Google Now / Google Assistant integration is also present, as just below the profile picture you'll find a list of "suggestions", much like today's Google Assistant is offering.

Back in August of a year ago, reports emerged that Google was working on a brand-new OS codenamed Fuchsia, which would run on computers, phones, tablets, and IoT devices. It was actually first discovered by Kyle Bradshaw at Hotfix. Fuchsia developer Travis Geiselbrecht, for his part, announced that the nascent OS "isn't a toy thing, it's not a 20% project, it's not a dumping ground of a dead thing that we don't care about anymore". Also expected are some tweaks in the Notification bar, native support for app badges and settings menu. But this video, along with a gallery of screenshots produced by Ars Technica, gives a clear indication that Google is busy working on something entirely new.

Putting an emphasis on the cross-platform capabilities of Fuchsia and its advantages over Android may be enough to convince both Google and third-party OEMs and developers to adopt the platform. However, it looks like Google is now looking to the future, as a new OS has been found in the works. Google as already admitted to Fuchsia OS being compatible across devices - meaning a single OS for smartphones, tablets and laptops or PCs. Its Android-like home screen features empty spaces for widgets, whereas other screenshots display a Chrome-like tabbed interface that would allow users to toggle back and forth between apps easily.

It also has a Vulkan-based graphics renderer called "Escher" that lists "Volumetric soft shadows" as one of its features, which seems custom-built to run Google's shadow-heavy "Material Design" interface guidelines.

For over a year, serial killing suspect went undiscovered
The mother of Jesse Olivas , Lydia Lopez, said she had a feeling her son's death was linked to the " serial street shooter ". While Saucedo knew the first victim killed in August 2015, the other slayings appear to have been random, police said.

Of course, even if there is no button dedicated to multitasking, it does not indicate that this option is not present in Google Fuchsia, since it can be activated by pressing one card and combining it with another. Fuchsia runs on x86/IA-64 hardware and is backward compatible with key Android libraries. But, it is possible that we get to know more details soon. The interface in its current state is vertically-oriented, with users scrolling up and down through the cards to navigate through the OS and apps. The collection of apps or tasks is called "Stories" under Armadillo UI.

This new feature will help you for better navigation. It is a place for your recent apps with the ability to act as a double launcher too - like a Desktop OS you can combine more than two apps in a split-screen mode.

And is all this what we are going to see when Fuchsia is finalized? Linux forms the core of most modern operating systems, including the Mac OS. Apps developed with Flutter are written using the Dart programming language, a proprietary version of the JavaScript language that Google has developed to help create high-performance mobile apps.
