Juventus into Champions League final

Juventus' Mario Mandzukic, right, celebrates after scoring his side's opening goal besides team mate Dani Alves during the Champions League semi final second leg soccer match between Juventus and Monaco in Turin, Italy, Tuesday, .

All indicators point to Juventus hanging onto their lead and advancing to the final in Cardiff on June 3.

The French side nearly got off to the flawless start when Mbappe knocked the ball past veteran Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon but his effort came back off a post and the offside flag meant it would not have counted anyway.

In team news, Monaco will be missing Gabriel Boschilia and Almamy Toure, while Juve will be without Marko Pjaca.

Juve finally took the lead after 32 minutes and all but secured their place in the final.

Mandzukic's header was brilliantly saved by Subasic but the keeper could do nothing as his fellow Croat fired home the rebound.

Former Juventus coach Antonio Conte famously bemoaned the difference between his team and the top European clubs when, in his last season in charge in 2014, he said: "When you sit in a restaurant where a meal costs 100 euros, you can't think about eating with just 10 euros".

Kings XI stay alive with crucial win
Amla wanted to display his more talent but failed to do so as in the after first six of the match he failed to repeat the same. Amla went to 50 off 35 balls, and along with Marsh, set the flawless platform for his side with a 125-run partnership.

The second half began with both sides knowing that the tie was already over as a contest, and as a result it suffered a bit of a lull with half-chances for Juan Cuadrado - on as a sub for Dybala - and Higuain going begging.

Juventus had two quick chances in the 27th minute but Mandzukic headed narrowly wide while Miralem Pijanic saw his shot well blocked by Andrea Raggi.

Tempers then flared when Monaco defender Kamil Glik appeared to stamp on forward Gonzalo Higuain, although the referee took no action against the Pole, leading to a bad-tempered final 20 minutes as Juve ran out comfortable 4-1 winners on aggregate.

The Old Lady will now await to see who will join them in the final between Real Madrid and city rivals Atletico.

Despite Juventus boasting such an incredible record at home in the Champions League, their manager Massimiliano Allegri feels the job is still not complete. "I'm very proud of my players and what they have done so far, regardless of Tuesday's result".

"We have a month to work on improving and we must not forget that we have some very important games before then".

Mbappe finally got on the score sheet in the 69th minute finishing from close range off a low cross from the left. Dani Alves has returned strongly from his injury in the winter and is a hugely important player for us, bringing a wealth of worldwide experience. We need to give our all.
