Romelu Lukaku Reportedly 'Torn' over Chelsea, Manchester United Transfer

This claim seems freakish considering Lukaku has said in the past that he feels he has unfinished business at Chelsea, and in addition, the manager who sold him from the Stamford Bridge club was Jose Mourinho who is now in charge at Old Trafford.

Lukaku rejected a new £140,000-a-week contract at Goodison Park in March with the 23-year-old unsure if the Toffees can match his ambition to be "one of the world's best".

United are believed to be eager to rival Chelsea to the signings of both Lukaku and Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata with both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and captain Wayne Rooney possibly set to depart this summer.

Reports on Monday suggested that Lukaku would prefer to join United over Chelsea, though he has reacted with disdain to those reports.

After tearing Premier League defences to shreds all season, it appears as though Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is now taking on the British media.

Maria Sharapova to face an opponent who has called her "a cheat"
Maria Sharapova is not yet anxious about whether she will be awarded a wild card for Wimbledon following her doping ban. It was Sharapova's fifth match since a 15-month ban for testing positive for meldonium at last year's Australian Open.

United are on the look-out for a striker this summer with Jose Mourinho critical of his side's wastefulness in front of goal this season. "But at Manchester United you need a few more strings to your bow", Meulensteen told talkSPORT. "I don't think so".

This was followed by a second tweet, saying: "As long as I didn't make a public statement about my situation please stay out of my business OK?"

Writing on Twitter, apparently in response to The Sun story, he said: "Some media these days are annoying man".

And then there is the statistic that Lukaku has scored as many goals as Manchester United's entire team have managed at Old Trafford in the league this season.
