Lenovo introduces Smart Band HW01 in India at Rs 1,999 available exclusively via Flipkart

Lenovo India launched the Smart Band HW01, the company's first wearable fitness tracker which comes at the price of Rs 1,999.

You can call it a smart band, but it basically falls in the category of a wearable with nearly all functions a digital fitness tracker does. There are additional features that help you keep a track of your fitness and sleep pattern as well.

The smartband provides you with a silicone strap that is skin-friendly and is comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.

The Smart Band HW01 is compatible with iOS and Android and is IP 65 certified which essentially means you can jog in the run but not dive in a pool with it (dust proof and water resistant).

The new Lenovo Smart Band HW01 features a newly designed dynamic heart rate tracker and customers must note that it will be available exclusively via Flipkart.

Carlos Santana had three hits, including an RBI single in the fifth that followed Yan Gomes' double for the game's only run. The Indians will travel to Toronto before opening a three-game set with the Blue Jays on Monday at 7:07 p.m.

The fitness band from Lenovo has a Sports Mode for real time heart rate monitoring. However, smartwatches did give a boost to the existing fitness trackers segment. The band vibrates when your heart rate reaches the designated threshold. Here are the details of the newly launched device.

Furthermore, Lenovo's new fitness band also comes with a dynamic heart rate monitor that detects users' heart rate every 15 minutes.

Additionally, the band comes with an anti-sleep mode that will alert you through vibrations if you've slept beyond a designated time. This is especially helpful if you are driving or working at night and you accidently doze off.

It also comes with an 85mAh battery, which is said to last for almost 5 days on a single charge. It can log data to popular fitness apps like Google Fit and Apple HealthKit. Lenovo claims that it can last up to 5 days on a single charge.
