Candidate for Army secretary withdraws amid heavy criticism

The White House has fired chief usher Angella Reid, a White House official confirmed to Fox News Friday. He was the first black person to occupy the role of White House chief usher, and Reid was the second.

"She is no longer employed here at the White House, but we left on very good terms and wish her the very best and certainly hope for great things for her in the future", she said.

"Construction, maintenance, remodeling, food, as well as the administrative, fiscal and personnel functions" fall under the role's responsibilities, per the White House Historical Association. He said the job, part of the permanent White House staff, is usually unaffected by politics, and staffers generally stay in their positions for a long time.

"He was simply being complimentary of the prime minister", said Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the deputy press secretary for the White House, during Friday's daily briefing with reporters.

Cruelty? In Donald Trump's White House?

Some White House insiders claiming to have inside knowledge of the environment surrounding the chief usher and the staff claim tensions have emerged among the residence workers supervised by Angella Reid.

Philippines says Trump called Duterte to affirm alliance
On Friday, he told Reuters , "There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea ". He was accused of being responsible for the execution of more than 1,000 dealers when he was mayor.

"I think it's best if the White House explains", was all Reid herself would say when contacted by the press about her notable absence from the residence staff.

The last chief usher, Stephen Rochon, only served for four years, and he left to accept a position at the Department of Homeland Security.

Former Obama aide Graham Brookie conveyed that sentiment: "Ms. Reid was incredible at her job".

Reid, who had 25 years experience in hotel management, happened upon the position at a pool party.

"The Trump administration seems anxious about Obama's spies", he said, "and there may have been a feeling that she wasn't on page with the Trumpians". A White House that's seeking to make sexual assault and Caesarean sections fall under pre-existing conditions?
