Many people ask me, 'Do you think it's a company's job to create jobs?' My response is a corporation should have values because a company is a collection of people.

On Wednesday, Apple appeared to meet President Trump halfway.

Basing on the company's CEO, Tim Cook, the firm created a sponsor account to enhance the highly regarded industrialized occupations around the U.S. Even as the company waits for the president's approval of the fund, Apple had started the fund long time ago before the previous presidential elections were done.

Apple is launching a $1 billion fund to invest in advanced manufacturing companies in the United States, a strategy that will surely be welcomed by the Trump administration's goal of creating new American jobs.

As well, Cook said that the first company which they would invest some of this money into had already been chosen, though the company itself has not been named. However, a lot of the money for this effort will be borrowed and not drawn from Apple's substantial cash reserves. Apple's CEO also claimed Apple was responsible for the creation of two million jobs in the United States alone, a figure later reflected by the company's website.

Ms El Aty was put on a special liquid diet in India to reduce her weight enough so that doctors could perform bariatric surgery. Doctors, paramedics and nurses accompanied her on the passenger flight to Abu Dhabi, according to reports.

Cook had earlier spoken on the shortage of USA workers who could perform advanced manufacturing, which differed from conventional manufacturing in that it often required specialised skills to produce highly-engineered components for Apple's products. "And one of the things you do is giving back", Cook said.

Further, Apple has employed workers across 50 states, including 80,000 company workers in areas like research and development, customer support, financial services and Apple's 271 U.S. stores.

Ninety-three percent of Apple's $256.8 billion cash is held overseas, CNBC reported.

However, he wants to make more, asking how he can increase it further: "We're not satisfied with just two million".

"And so if you look at job creation in particular, we've now created two million jobs in America", he adds.
