The Oklahoma City Police Department said on Twitter that they offered their "deepest condolences" to Wade's family.
As he approaches the home, LeForce is seen removing a shotgun from his waist and aiming it at Wade.
The sheriff said authorities are searching for 45-year-old Nathan Aaron LeForce, the suspect.
Wade was taken to a hospital for treatment, but died from his injuries.

The man accused of fatally shooting a Logan County sheriff's deputy Tuesday and leading authorities on a manhunt is in custody, according to Logan County Sheriff Damon Devereaux. Vincent said police used technology to track LeForce, but he did not give details of the search.
