Samsung Galaxy S8 Active in the works, likely headed to AT&T

There has been no shortage of leaks whatsoever.

It was reported earlier this week that T-Mobile might start shipping Galaxy S8 units ahead of schedule just like it did a year ago with the Galaxy S7.

Many folks were disheartened when the removable battery feature failed to make it into the latest Samsung flagship devices as this would have aided Galaxy S3 users to make that switch to the current models. Going forward the Galaxy S8 series will most likely be the first to get all Nougat updates among Samsung devices this year.

After Samsung previously made it clear that the reason a rear dual-camera setup route was not pursued for its Galaxy S8, a photo of an alleged prototype has made rounds online today, showing how this year's flagship would've looked had Samsung chose to keep it in.

Samsung is lifting its head after the Samsung Galaxy Note7 blasts scandal.

Russia, Iran and Syria issue warning to US
Assad said he would only allow an "impartial" external investigation involving "unbiased countries", according to AFP . The Syrian president also challenged accounts of alleged chemical attack provided by "White Helmet" volunteer medics.

It's still unclear whether Samsung will consider an Active key on the Galaxy S8 Active, in addition to the dedicated Bixby button.

"It's still a bit early, but initial responses to the pre-orders that have begun at various places across the world have been better than expected", Mr Koh said at a media briefing.

In US, Samsung's own site is throwing mouth-watering discounts right now, until device remains on pre-order, till April 21. The new launch provides a much needed vigor for the company's sales that had vaccum of a flagship during this time, even when it diverted all sales and marketing activities to the predecessor, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
