Mostly sunny skies will prevail through mid morning as a high-pressure system remains in control of the local weather pattern.

Saturday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. In addition to the rain and snow, the Chicago area will see winds gusting 40-60 miles per hour, which could create 15-22 ft. waves. The low at night will be around 36.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Fair skies Saturday evening should become cloudy by sunrise Sunday.

Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11 a.m. with a high near 52.
