Oakland Calif. NFL owners are expected to vote on the team's possible relocation to Las Vegas on Monday or Tuesday at their

The NFL's Oakland Raiders won approval from team owners March 27 to relocate the franchise to Las Vegas. The stadium would be financed with $750 million in public funding and a $450 million construction loan from Bank of America, with the Raiders and the National Football League adding a combined $500 million.

Of course, that's not going to keep players from wondering what's next, but since the team's going to play in Oakland for at least the next two years, it's probably best to not invest too much time with the current roster.

Now, the Raiders will be joining the Vegas Golden Knights - an expansion ice hockey team recently also approved by the NHL - as the shiny new professional franchises in a city that long had none to call its own. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has openly opposed the Raider's move to Las Vegas, citing a lack of stabilization that comes with moving a team. He said the vote came very quickly after Raiders' owner Marc Davis made his presentation to the owners.

Davis thanked Adelson as well Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval and the state legislature, which approved the tax measure, in his prepared remarks. "They love their Raiders and I think they know what Mark Davis has been through trying to keep the franchise in Oakland". Oakland leaders say Raiders didn't do enough to stay, "They did not want us" Feeling cheated, the heart of Raider Nation drown their sorrows in a drink. "I couldn't be more excited for the fans and residents of Clark County as we move forward with the Raiders and the Rebels".

"I wouldn't use the term lame duck", Davis insisted. "I just hope that in the future as we play in Oakland this year, that they understand it wasn't the players, it wasn't the coaches that made this decision, but it was me that made it, and if they have anybody to talk to about it, it should be me, and I will in the coming days try to explain to them what went into making this hard decision".

A look at the proposed $1.9 billion domed football stadium for the Oakland Raiders and UNLV football in Las Vegas. If they are prone to being dumb with their money, not being in Las Vegas doesn't exactly stop that.

The court retained authority to enforce the agreement, which was the result of a lawsuit stemming from the Flint water crisis. On Tuesday, federal Judge David Lawson will listen to lawyers representing Flint, the state and residents who sued.

Davis said any season ticket holders who have already paid for next season will get full refunds if they seek them.

Owner Mark Davis addressing the media after the decision.

Monday, she asked owners to delay the vote, wanting to give her city a chance to negotiate with a small group of owners to complete a stadium deal at the Coliseum site. After 25 years of being a Raiders fan, his allegiances aren't going to change now.

Millions of dollars become available to build new stadiums, ones far nicer than the one in Orchard Park.

-Eliminating the summer cutdown to 75 players, leading to just one cut day at the end of the preseason. "I doubt it because the first thing we have to do is play well and earn it, that's where it starts".
