Scotty Lago racy pictures are amusing or inappropriate?  Scotty Lago, a Bronze medal winner at the Vancouver 2010 winter Olympic games, recently had racy photos surface.  As a result, the Olympian headed home early.

The racy images surfaced on Celebrity gossip site TMZ.  They feature the Olympic bronze medalist with his medal around his waist, and an unidentified female kissing it - which, as you can imagine, is located at a very strategic part of his body.

Then, the same unidentified female is seen biting the medal. 

Now, even though the pictures are questionable in nature, would they really warrant the athlete leaving the Vancouver games before the closing ceremony? After all, he is a snowboarder (as TMZ points out).  He was likely partying after the win and had a little too much to drink and then this happened.  This is a classic “I wasn’t thinking” moment on the part of the athlete.

Are the pictures amusing or inappropriate? They evoked a chuckle from me, but I can see where people would be angered.  Winning an Olympic gold medal is a high honor, and one that deserves a lot of respect.  Seeing someone bite an Olympic medal is sort of like seeing someone lick a Bible – it’s just not normal.

But hey- look at the bright side: it wasn’t the gold medal.
