2010 Kate Gosselin Birthday and Dancing with the Stars – Kate Spent Birthday Minus 8!  Yesterday was Kate Gosselin’s birthday, and Kate spent the date minus 8.  Instead, the matriarch was practicing for Dancing with the Stars.

She’s bent on making it through eliminations this week.  She doesn’t want to be the first to go on the show, but she was among the contestants that got the lowest scores last week.

Gosselin has been working hard with her DWTS partner Tony Dovolani in LA and also in her basement dance studio.  Since her TLC series “Jon and Kate plus 8″ was canceled, she has been looking for ways to keep in the spotlight and earn a living that will sustain the lifestyle she and her children have become accustomed to.

Still yet, her birthday was spent thousands of miles away from her precious children, but last year she spent her birthday alone as Jon Gosselin, who she was married to at the time, was in Utah with his alleged mistress.

And no, she didn’t spend time with her kids this whole weekend – Dancing with the Stars is taking up too much time.  She’s definitely a career minded individual!

Dancing with the Stars airs tonight on ABC.  We will see if she and Tony Dovolani will be the first to exit the show, or if they will keep her on.  We think it would be smart if the show kept her on simply because she brings a lot of interest to the show.
