Health Care Reform Bill Summary 2010 and Details. Obama’s health care reform bill is a hot topic of the day. The summary of the bill is almost incomprehensible to many, and there is frustration on the parts of Republicans, state governments, and constituents alike.
The text of Obama’s health care bill is over 2,300 pages long – and is full of very complex ideologies that are difficult to understand.
Many people are concerned about what’s in the healthcare bill. The legislation is undoubtedly expensive, and despite reassurance that the bill will actually SAVE money in the long run, there’s a lot of skepticism over that fact.
There’s a lot of individuals that are not sure that the bill will operate as planned. In addition, there are fines for people that don’t purchase insurance, and provisions allowing the less fortunate to receive free or reduced insurance using credits.
Whether or not the health care bill will be good for the country has yet to be seen. Obama promises that it will save money and lives and create a more “honest” insurance industry.
States are lining up to sue the government over reform, and people are already voicing dissatisfaction over the passage of the bill. A million dollars was raised for the GOP to gain 40 seats – enough to oust Pelosi as their leader.
